I think these are great looking cars especially the convertible. With that Crysler power train it is going to be reliable and easy to fix but still be an exotic British sports car.
This car is for sale at Michael Sheehan. Here is what he has to say about this car:
“Powered by a Chrysler 7212 cc (440 cubic inch) V-8 with a 4-barrel carburetor backed by a TorqueFlite automatic and a Salisbury limited slip differential the Jensen Interceptor did not lack for power.
The engine has been fully rebuilt and fitted with aluminum cylinder heads, an aluminum intake manifold, steel billet rods and a forged crank. The engine was over-bored to 451 C.I.D. and completely rebuilt, balanced and blue printed and then dyno tested…producing 483.7 ft lbs of torque @ 3,500 rpm and a more-than-adequate 367.0 hp @ 4,700 rpm.”
It is dark blue with black leather interior and priced at $49,500 or best offer. Here is Michael Sheehan’s web site.
This Jensen comes with 17 inch custom wheels that look like the originals.
The original 15 inch wheels are also included.
I love this steering wheel.
