Monterey Car Week – Day One

by Mike –

Today (Monday) I went on the Garage Style Magazine Garage Tour. This was my first one and it was a blast. We visited three garages and they were all completely different.

Garage One

This Pebble Beach garage was filled with Italian cars, mostly, that were red, mostly.

Garage Two

This Carmel garage was limited in space as is normal for Carmel because of the small lot sizes. This owner was very clever in building a two car garage with tandem storage. Today there were two beautiful Porsches, one belonging to the garage owner and one being stored for a friend waiting for the Carmel car show on Tuesday.

I am also a Porsche 911 fan.

Garage Three

This was the most unusual on the three garages, located in Watsonville. There were at least 30 cars in this garage and more outside the garage. There were almost all pre-war American cars and many were Lincolns.
