The Mecum auction in Seattle just sold this 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible for $3.5 million! I believe the buyers commission raises this to a net of $3,850,000.
The Muscle Car market has just taken a leap upward in prices. Is this the highest price paid for a non-Shelby American Muscle Car?

A great car, but I am concerned that we are in an overheated market like 1989-1990.
I know this combination is rare, but unless this car comes with marriage to Scarlett Johansson, it is not worth $3.5 million! Glenn in the Bronx, NY.
3.5 million it’s just doesn’t make sense. It looks pretty ugly with those rims too.
