This one-of-a-kind mid-engine Ferrari V12 owned by the Chinetti family was put up for auction by Gooding in Pebble Beach this past Sunday. It was Gooding’s flagship car at the Pebble Beach auction.

The bidding stopped at $22,500,000 and did not meet reserve – so no sale.
This is not a race car but a concept car – a very beautiful and special concept car. I am not sure how comfortable the three seat position is. It is white and not red, a plus for me but maybe not for most Ferrari collectors.
I think the current market for collector cars, especially the Ferrari brand, has set sellers expectations very high – maybe too high.
$22,500,000 should have been enough money to take this Ferrari home.
