Car Of The Day – Bizzarrini GT 5300 Strada For Sale At Auction

by Mike –

One of the cars up for auction at the Keno Brothers Rolling Sculpture Auction on November 19 in New York is this beautiful Bizzarrini GT 5300 Strada.

It is not common to see a dark blue Bizzarrini GT 5300 and the Giugiaro design wears this color very well.

Beautiful blue. I wonder if it’s a color they mixed up, another car company’s color (probably not Ferrari lol) or is it an Iso color (doubtful). Is it metalliic?

Don’t forget your recent post of the Bertone 250 gt swb, a.Giugiaro design, that was also very dark blue non metallic.

    Hey Mike,

It so happens that I visited Jack Koobs de Hartog yesterday at his place in Belgium.
I am convinced that Jack will be able to help you with matters regarding Bizzarini’s.
I actually went over to see him about the brandnew DROGO book that has just came out.
The pre-face is by Jean Louis Bezemer and who is known for his Ferrari archive. Jean Louis is my oldest car friend and we have known echother for 55 years. I am as much as crazy about cars as these 2 people are, so I am feeling as a fish in water when I can exchange views with people like them. (I personally am crazy about Alfre”DINO” and intend to write about him and all his work of his too short live. ) Kindest regards Wim van de Kimmenade

I never even knew what a Bizzarrini GT was before today, but it seems very superior. My son’s friend referenced it the other day and I figured I should acquaint myself since I had no idea what he was talking about. Thank you for the gained knowledge and details on such an incredible automobile.
