Below is an update on the German owner Iso tour of California after The Quail, A Motor Sport Gathering where there were four German Iso Cars shipped from Germany to California for this special event.
Once the cars are here it makes sense that they need to be driven around the beautiful countryside of California. That is just what happened.

The drive in California was very enjoyable but also very tiring – 100 degree heat in non-air conditioned cars can be hard on man and machine. But, despite a few troubles along the way, we managed to bring all four cars along and saw what we had planned to see.
We drove 2,500 km (1,553 miles) and saw some of the most beautiful parts of California.
I cannot tell you how many people came up to us and commented on the cars, people were very generous in their praise. Now the cars are back on the boat to Europe and all participants have returned tired, excited and proud.
During The Quail apparently the Iso Rivolta Varedo had a battery problem and needed help from Lutz Hegewald one of the German visitors.

What a great adventure – all Iso fans who saw these cars are thankful for the four beautiful German Iso cars spending some time in California.
