This fiberglass-bodied Bizzarrini GT Europa 1900 was created by Bizzarrini as a proposal to General Motors-Opel. The engine was an inline 4-cylinder 1.9 liter Opel with a power output of 110 hp and a claimed top speed of 128 MPH.
This is a rare car – only approximately 12 were produced.
The Bizzarrini GT Europa 1900 shown here, chassis #516, is for sale and needs a full restoration.
Number 516 was in the production line when the company closed its doors forever.
The unique and very rare rear and front suspension are present but must be overhauled.
The no longer available wheels are original and there is almost no Bizzarrini Europa that has four of the same.
Rare original seats – with headrests!
The glassware looks complete, however, the windscreen is cracked and needs to be replaced.
Instruments and the Opel 1900 engine are missing.
For the enthusiast who seeks an original Bizzarrini GT Europa 1900, this is a rare opportunity.

This is a wonderful looking car that I never knew ever existed. GM probably turned down Bizzarrini, because they felt producing and selling it would cannibalize sales from Corvette in America and the Opel GT in Europe. Looks like a great project for somebody with some funds. Whatever they invest in it, they will get back six-fold, based on the fact that only twelve were made. Glenn in the Bronx, NY

It is the same model.
Is this maybe one of the many bodies only sold a few years ago?
I believe they were originally Opel 4cyl powered.
