You may have noticed from time to time I publish photos sent in by readers of My Car Quest – this is one of those days.
Iso Grifo In New Zealand
Pete Lyttle, the photographer and lucky Iso Grifo owner wrote,
I was driving home last evening and pulled in at lake Pukaki. The evening light was great so I took a few photos of the Grifo. The tallest mountain in the background with the last of the setting sun on it is Mt Cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain.
Pete Lyttle appears to have professional photographer skills.
The AMX/3 by Bizzarrini arrives in Germany
The new owner of the AMX/3 by Bizzarrini, recently sold on My Car Quest, sent in these photos and wrote,
The AMX/3 has finally arrived in Germany. The car is in excellent condition and came in a mega-truck appropriately labeled “automotive & entertainment logistics”. I have just begun to familiarize myself with the car. I will take my time and check all of the car’s vital systems before I will start up the engine and drive it around the block. After all, the AMX/3 is such an important piece of automotive history and it deserves to be treated with care and respect.
Once again, thank you very much for helping to make this transaction happen!
Look for this AMX/3 in Europe at an event near you!
Camouflaged Rolls Royce In Carmel
When this camouflaged Rolls Royce pulled into Baja Cantina in Carmel one night during Monterey Car Week I could not resist asking the driver what was going on.
I found out the camouflage was not paint but a wrap which is temporary and will not damage the beautiful black paint underneath.
This car was designed to publicize the charity the Wounded Warrior Project.
The driver, Greg, and his passenger, Katlin, were very nice and put up with a lot of questions from me.
