A special 1964 Jaguar was unveiled at the Cholmondely Pageant of Power in the U.K. on July 15, 16 and 17, 2011.
The beautiful Lindner Nocker Jaguar E-Type won best in show.
The low drag coupe is made of aluminum instead of steel as was used on the production E-Types. Malcolm Sayer used an original tub with light weight outer panels and the front steel sub frame was not changed. The rear trunk was welded shut and the windshield was sloped more than normal.
Malcolm Sayer also modified one E-Type Lightweight into a low drag coupe – this is that one special car.
This Jaguar crashed at the Montlhery circuit in 1964 and has been put away all of these years since.
Peter Neumark and his Classic Motor Car business in Bridgnorth, England fully restored the car using many original parts.
This Jaguar looks very fast doesn’t it?
