I like this color combination which I suspect is a rare Pantera color. I also like the small Pantera bumpers.

This looks like a really terrific Pantera if the history and the photos are accurate. One big question though is with only 14,000 miles and one owner why was this Pantera “Fully Restored to New”?

Wouldn’t we all be better off if this car was still in original condition?

  1. Judging from the miles, this car was severely underused. Perhaps it was left to sit until everything dried out, shrank, cracked or crumbled. That’s why I’d rather see a 214,000 mile example with an extensive service/maintenance history. OK, so I may be exaggerating on the mileage, but the idea is to get a car that has been properly operated and not just left to rot in a corner of a garage (or a barn)…

  2. BTW, these are great to consider for future investment as the prices for these have been on the upswing. Several years ago, this car would have been at least $20k less.

    • George, I agree that a buyer should buy the best car available. This seems like the best Pantera that I have seen in a while although on the top end of the price range but maybe it is worth it, assuming that the questions are answered satisfactorily.

      • Definitely Mike. As our common sense and life experience tell us, its better to buy the best example you can afford rather than getting involved in bringing a poor one up to snuff…

  3. If I was going to buy a Pantera this would be the one assuming that George’s explanation for the reason for the restoration was close to being correct.
