Iso/Bizzarrini chassis No. 0222 is for sale. This is the Bizzarrini that won its class and was ninth overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1965.
The seller says:
“This car, chassis 0222, is the Bizzarrini works entry for the 1965 Le Mans 24 Hours race and features independent rear suspension and a quadruple Weber carburettor 400bhp Corvette engine. 0222 was raced by Regis Fraissinet and Baron Jean de Mortemart and claimed 9th overall, winning its class outright! Chris Amon then drove the car to 4th place at the Austrian GP at Zeltweg, 0222 also competing at the Nurburgring 1000kms and Reims in 1965.”

This special race car is for sale at this dealer in the UK.
Is anyone else surprised at how many Iso and Bizzarrini cars are coming up for sale lately? And at very high prices, either actual prices achieved at auction, or high asking prices.
It seems like the Iso and the Bizzarrini marques are on the upward move in value.

Hi Mike
I am current doing some work on the 1965 LeMans (exhibition panels) and I like the vintage image you have at the top
do you know who has copyright …who can I ask …. and can I use it?
Stuart,
I do not know who shot that photo but many more of the same car can be seen this this book – https://mycarquest.com/2017/03/book-review-iso-bizzarrini.html
Several of them credited to Klemantaski Collection/Yves Debraine among others.
