The Ferrari 365 GTC/4 is a 2+2 that was produced in 1971 and 1972 based on the 365GTB/4 Daytona. The V12 engine produces 340 bhp and it uses an engine-mounted transmission instead of the transaxle in the Daytona. Styling is by Pininfarina.
There were a total of 500 made and even though it is close in design and performance to the Daytona they have not been as loved as the Daytona, so their values are much lower.
Good examples can be bought in the $130,000 range, about one third, or less, than the price of an equivalent Daytona coupe.
Values
The Hagerty Price Guide lists a condition 1 1971 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 at $130,000 in the Fall/Winter 2006 issue and $150,000 in the January–April 2013 issue. This is an appreciation of 15% in seven years.
My Take
As other, more desirable Ferraris appreciate, there may be more appreciation for this model as well. If you are on a budget and want a classic V12 Ferrari this is a model worthy of serious consideration as is the 550 Marenello which came along much later.

I can confirm that it is a great car and undervalued compared to other Ferraris as I own one for myself :-). Drives great, best sound ever and looks very special.
best wishes

Herbert – send in some photos of that Ferrari when you can.
