A Ferrari 750 Monza Spider race car raced by Phil Hill was up for auction at the RM auction in Paris on 5 February 2014.
It is the Ferrari Monza that George Tilp once owned. In another Ferrari he installed the custom made Offenhauser engine that is featured for sale here on My Car Quest.
The estimate was €1,800,000 – €2,100,000 – Sold for €1,960,000 ($2,672,087) (1,628,228 pounds sterling).
