By now all of you regular readers know what I think about the Iso Grifo.
The combination of the vision of Renzo Rivolta, the engineering expertise of several key Iso employees like Pierluigi Raggi, the technical contributions of Giotto Bizzarrini (the engineer in charge of the development of the Ferrari 250 GTO) and the brilliant styling of Giorgetto Giugiaro of Bertone resulted in one of the most admired sports cars of the past fifty years.
Nuccio Bertone also played a critical role in the creation of the Iso Grifo. Read more about the history of the Iso Grifo here.

I see an interior that looks mostly original in the photos and a very nice body color that is rare on a Grifo. It would be great to see this Grifo go to a good home and show up in Monterey next year.
This was owned by my good friend and Iso arch-enthusiast, Marcel Anderssen from the Netherlands. It was restored while he owned it, and is, I believe a very nice car. Marcel also owned a 5 speed Rivolta which he piloted with some skill around the Assen track in Holland. That was quite an exciting ride! Marcel also made the trip to Monterey one time in the early ’90s.
