Here is my pick for the classic car for sale today that I would like to own.
1976 Porsche 911 Coupe
This beautiful looking 1976 911 is for sale in Atlanta, Georgia.
The seller says: “With stunning factory paint a cool plaid interior and service records from the past 31 years totaling more than $30,000 THIS is the 911 you want if you’re looking for an old air-cooled Porsche to enjoy. The 2.7 liter air-cooled flat-six has been recently rebuilt by the pros at Carrera Sports with receipts totaling almost $9000.”
This Porsche has 132,309 miles and is priced at $24,995. It is listed on Hemmings here.
The mileage is high but if it holds up to inspection this could be a good driving Porsche 911. I love the color scheme and the plaid interior.

I love the looks of this 911 – are those wheels stock Porsche?
That red plaid interior is something you do not see everyday.
For me, this car is nice and desirable but a little bit expensive. I consider it should not go over than 20-21k
Why ? There are some details that are not acceptable at this price, like non OEM exhaust, rear lid that needs to be hold on with a metal rod…
At this price, this 911 should have some other gorgeous options like sunroof or 16″ alloy fuchs wheels, not basic 15″ ATS
The only originality of this car is the cloth color combination. On my own choice, I would prefer solid leather seats and a period specific color like Light Yellow, Arrow Blue or a special order color like Peru red or a metallic like Copper Brown !
+1 on the price and the wheels. I would venture further to say that this car is $16-$18k. It has great history, the $30k in receipts for 31 years is not that unusual, as these cars were always pricey to maintain especially if the work was done at a dealer. $9k for an engine rebuild is actually quite a bargain for this car. Interior is not my favorite but does add a bit of Euro flair
Yeah, but I bet it is fun to drive. I like the looks too and that interior is not like all other 911 interiors.
