Here is my pick for the classic car for sale today that I would like to own. The Lamborghini Espada is an unusual choice because the looks are not normal super car looks but I like that. The big concern is the quality of the car because fixing a problem with an Espada is just as expensive as fixing a Miura but the value of the Espada is 10%, or less, than a Miura.
This is good when you are buying but not good if you spend money on the Espada and then want to sell it.
1971 Lamborghini Espada Series II
The Seller says:
* This Espada has been with it’s last owner since 1985
* Gorgeous color combination with its white paintwork complimented by it’s fresh maroon leather interior & carpets
* 44K original miles & is very original overall
* It’s 5-speed transmission shifts the V-12 effortlessly
* The Factory Air Conditioning works quite well
* It is in our shop getting sorted out
This price is $59,500 and the this Lamborghini Espada is for sale here in Florida.

I would need to know a lot more about this car than the seller disclosed in the listing. From looking at the photos it looks nice but is not a show car. That may be OK as long as everything is in good order and the price is right. However, the condition and proper maintenance are more important than the price.
I like this color combination and that interior looks great.

I can understand your interest in the Espada but…
I have a Lamborghini Espada Series 3 , to date i have spent a bit of money on it to restore and make it better than what it originally was. Still working on this project, however the satisfaction that one gets when driving this car is worth every cent no matter what the cost. This is one of the unfortunate cars that have been underrated by so many. It is in fact a true super car when you understand it and know how to drive it. In my opinion this looks like a very good buy and should not be missed.
Victor,
Please send in some photos of your Espada!
