by Mike Gulett –
I have been to The Quail several times before and it seems that every year is better than the last. This year I displayed our 2005 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S in The Evolution of the Supercar Class. It was a great class with many modern supercars and a few classics. My driving companion, Desiree Gillingham, wrote about the fashion at The Quail recently.
The weather was great, the people were fantastic and the cars were special. It seemed like everyone I met was in a good mood starting with Ted from Nevada who was the owner of the beautiful orange McLaren that I followed in on Thursday afternoon. I also spoke with him on the day of the show.
Cars and people came from all over the world, I saw one from Spain and there were several from the East Coast in my class as well as Texas and the United Kingdom. Others were from Hong Kong, Germany, Luxembourg, Hawaii and even New Jersey where the owners of Best in Show are from.
It was a great day and I have a sunburn to remind me.
I hope you enjoy the video below (put it on full screen).

Mike/Desiree – Thanks for the feature and the really great video. I went looking for a summary/recap of The Quail 2024 and found none…until you posted this! I agree – great weather, fantastic people, and special cars. Hope to see you both (and Liz!) next year too.
Dear Mike and Desiree,
Thank you so much for the beautiful video of the show!!! Amazingly well-done and wonderful appropriate music as well. You truly made my day with this video – thanks again!!!
