This is one of the most unusual car sale advertisements scenarios that I have seen. First this seller advertises a Ferrari 250 GTO for $41,000,000 a few days ago with a photo of what looks like the the Ralph Lauren GTO. Then the ad vanishes and there is another ad from a different seller with the same Ferrari GTO photo.
Now the original advertiser lists a Ferrari 250 GTO for sale with a different photo and says “The car in the picture is “NOT” the actual car for sale.”
I don’t understand why the seller can’t get a real photo of the actual Ferrari 250 GTO for sale.
If any of you reading this have a Ferrari 250 GTO for sale I will advertise it on My Car Quest for FREE – the only requirement is you must send me a photo of the actual Ferrari 250 GTO that is for sale.
There are probably only about 200 people in the world who could and would buy a Ferrari 250 GTO ($35 million and up) so finding a buyer should not be difficult.

I have been receiving emails and PMs from people wanting to broker the sale of this mystery car over the past several weeks, which I find perplexing. The ‘GTO club’ is small and tight-knit and it seems to me that each of the current owners are likely to have a waiting list of potential buyers with offers-in-waiting. It will be interesting to discover what is behind this unusual offering.
I agree Stephen, this is strange. And a dealer in the Czech Republic also has a GTO?
