The Batmobile price guess survey will close at noon California time on Thursday January 17 and I will publish the results by the end of the day on Friday January 18.

Below is a photo of a Batmobile clone – the one being auctioned, however, is the real deal – the number 1 Batmobile – the original Batmobile created by George Barris for the 1960s TV series Batman. It will be auctioned off at Barrett Jackson on Saturday January 19.

The sydicated channel, ME TV, shows the original TV series on Saturday nights, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, EST. I have already participated in the survey, but would like to add that I think it will fetch a higher price if it is accompanied by its own Batgirl or Catwoman! You might want to do a survey of who your subscribers might think was the sexiest Catwoman: Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar, or Lee Merriweather. I always thought it was Eartha Kitt, but opinions vary. The best Catwoman was Julie Newmar for sure, at least that is what I think.
None of the Catwomen could purr their words like a humanoid version of a cat as great as Eartha could! You should add this question to your survey, “Who was the best Catwoman on the original Batman TV show?”, and see what your readership thinks. Maybe we’ll both be very surprised!
