I run into Steve Natale regularly at Northern California car events. Recently I read his column at examiner.com about the first Cars and Coffee event in the San Francisco Bay Area and I asked him to share something with My Car Quest readers. He chose this beautiful Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale.

This lovely Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale was spotted recently at the first ever Cars and Coffee event at the Blackhawk Automotive Museum in Danville, California.
Produced from 1959 to 1966, these cars have appreciated in value greatly in the past few years. As a museum docent and Alfa aficionado pointed out to me at the show “go inside the museum and look at the Alfa BAT cars and you can see how these cars came about”.
Sleek and aerodynamic, these cars are graceful and elegant, yet sporty and aggressive. This car is of “driver quality”, clean and well kept, but not a show car. It is driven and enjoyed by its owner, affording us a chance to see one of these great cars up close and hear its wonderfully melodic exhaust note as it roars down the street.
