by Mike –
Today in Livorno, Italy about forty Bizzarrini enthusiasts from around the world were fortunate enough to have lunch with Giotto Bizzarrini, his wife, son and daughter.
Here are some of my photos from this event:
Professore Bizzarrini was very generous with his time and attention. He posed for a photo with everyone who asked and he signed all autographs requested.
I wish I spoke Italian there are many questions I would like to ask.
Nice to see some familiar faces, including Jack and Fred. Glad to see Fred has taken my old sunroof Fidia #179/D back to the place of it’s birth!
I don’t recognize the Bizz from the UK – is it one I don’t know about??
Chris – It is IA3*0276 – the one that was in New York at Gullwing Motors. Now owned by Guy Berryman. See this link: https://mycarquest.com/2011/10/bizzarrini-gt-5300-barn-find-for-sale-and-probably-sold.html
THE Guy Berryman?
Yes.
Well done Mike,,,CONGRATS!!! Live each moment because you are living it for many of us too!
Do not forget….bring me a GT…surprise me with the color…don’t worry!!
Looks like it was a great afternoon. What could be better, Iso and Bizzarrini cars, Italy, some wine views looking over the ocean and Giotto Bizzarrini at your table.
