Here is my pick for the classic car for sale today that I would like to own. This Bizzarrini P538 is an exact reproduction of the Le Mans race car, commissioned by the owner, and constructed by Giotto Bizzarrini himself.

This Bizzarrini P538 is for sale at the Russo & Steele auction in Monterey, California on August 15-17, 2013.
I wrote about this Bizzarrini P538 when it was on display at Concorso Italiano in 2010. It was parked next to my Bizzarrini GT 5300 Strada. There is also a video with the sound of the Corvette engine.
I think this P538 would make an excellent historic race car.
