by Mike –
Today was the Danville d’Elegance in downtown Danville, California. A very pleasant event with great cars, although not as many cars as some other events.
This year there were more Italian classic cars than other marques.
I noticed the number of high quality Alfa Romeos. I also saw a Jensen Interceptor (body design by Touring of Italy) that I have not seen before and in an unusual color.
I ran into a couple of friends and saw cars owned by My Car Quest readers but did not find the owners, you know who you are.
A great day with excellent weather, great people and excellent classic cars. What better way to spend a Sunday?
More photos are in the slide show below.

It is simple – your car stays in your garage until it is sold. My Car Quest gets your car in front of serious buyers and you sell your car.

Hello Mike,
I didn’t see you last Sunday, as you mentioned it was a great day. I showed up not to be judged but because I knew there would be people there that have never seen or heard of an Apollo GT.
I am still driving the car daily, enjoying every mile. Since that day we took a drive I have logged over 13,000 miles. I also drove to the Orinda Car Show . It was more like a car wash but we had fun in the rain anyway. See you again soon.
In case you didn’t know, that Iso Grifo got the Best of Show award.
Take Care
Don – sorry I missed you but I got a good photo of your Apollo – the second photo in the slide show. See you soon.
