I have owned two yellow cars and they were two of my favorite, at least in my memory.
I have owned cars that cover most of the colors of the rainbow except for green and orange. I have a mission to own green and orange cars someday – think Lamborghini green and Lamborghini orange.
But today I am celebrating yellow – these yellow cars were at a recent custom and hot rod show in Pleasanton, California.
A 1955 Chevy that is 80% yellow.
I think this is mostly yellow but it looks like some orange crept in.
Flames always look good on a yellow car.
There is more out there than European sports cars and I like it all – how about you?

I always liked Milner’s 5 window Ford coupe from American Graffiti. It’s still one of my favorite movies. That movie started the muscle car craze for me that transformed into a 20 year long affair with a 68 Firebird convertible.
I loved Milner’s yellow hot rod. I also loved the black ’55 Chevy driven by Harrison Ford. I was just planning recently to watch that movie again.
Yellow cars look awesome but they are less in number.
Is that a Bristol Lodekka double decker bus sat behind the hot rod in the 3rd picture down?
