Geoffrey Horton and Roger Rousset sent in some photos from the Desert Classic that was held last Sunday in Palm Springs.
It is always painful when any car gets a dent. This looks like more than just a dent.
Geoffrey said,
The Morgan was parked next to me at the event and left early for the long ride home to Chico. Nobody was hurt!

The Morgan looks better after the accident, it’s even a bit lower to the ground and more aerodynamic.
The P538 was built by Bizzarrini for French owner Jacques Lavost after the factory went bankrupt. This car has upgrades and changes that Bizzarrini may have made if the company was still in business. Unlike other P538’s radiators were located in the back hence the large air ducts behind the doors. Windshield is higher for street use and double roll bars. Originally this car didn’t have the dual slot nose as seen on most Bizzarrini’s. This car also has a 180 degree crossover exhaust system.
HOW do you know so much about Bizzarrini cars?

~ happy no one was injured. any idea how it happened?
Scot – does it look like the Morgan moved over into the truck’s lane?
GREAT WEBSITE, Mike.
Cringe-worthy photos, for sure. I’m a big fan of 3-wheeled Morgans, (but can’t afford one) and you really should apply the balm of some 3-wheelers to sooth the wounds inflicted by viewing these tragic pix!
Seriously, GREAT way to start the day when this hits my Inbox every morning.
Thank you Charles.
