I came across this hot rod Triumph TR6 a few months ago at a local car show. A TR6 was the first car I bought for myself and it has always held fond memories even though it was not fast.
It was good around corners and sliding in the snow in Ohio where I lived at the time.
This TR6 is something quite different – it has a small block Chevy engine (350 cid) that produces 400 hp according to the owner.

Not my cup of tea, but to each his own… I’m sure it must be a blast to drive, though!
Hope the diff mounts have been reinforced or it may be ripped loose in short order.
Limited suspension/chassis upgrades listed–a little worrisome.
With aluminum heads and intake there is very little weight difference. A FUN car!
My slightly older brother built a Healey 104 with an LT1 small block and Muncie. Stripped off all extra weight and built with LeMans springs, race shocks and a boxed frame, it was pretty exciting. We drove the mountain roads around Tucson and somehow survived. This was in the sad automotive production years of the early 80s and almost nothing on the road could touch it. Of course back then you could buy sports cars crazy cheap.
