The Ferrari TRC-2500 is without a doubt the most sensationally performing sports car we have ever tested – and we have tested more sports cars than any one person or organization that we know of.
This special race car is now owned by Bruce Meyer who showed it to me one day a few years ago.
This recent Petrolicious video below says it all (click on the image).

Guess these cars don’t need license plates?
Looks great in silver. You have to wonder how good/poor the handling was if Bizzarrini was given the task to build a car that could beat the D type. Is the GTO that much better, maybe Tom Price can tell us as he owns both.
I saw this car race many times In southern California at tracks Like Santa Barbara, Pomona Palm springs, back in the late fifties and early sixties… It won every time if it lasted…It was always silver….
This car won the first two races that I ever attended at Sacramento in 1957 with Von Neumann driving and at Laguna Seca in 1958 with Ritchie Ginther at the wheel. I still think that it, along with the Ferrari 3320P3/P4 are the most beautiful race cars ever.
