The Niello Concours At Serrano was held this past Sunday, October 5, 2014 in El Dorado Hills, California.
Run by Michele and Brian Moore this event has a great reputation. I was scheduled to go three years ago and an unexpected illness changed my plans but it is always on my list of events to attend – maybe next year with the Iso Grifo?

Hi Mike,
Thanks for posting these photos from the Niello Concours. Having owned two Triumph Spitfires back in the late 70’s (I was in high school then); I was impressed to see the Mark I looking so nice. I have fond memories of driving through the Gold Country with my Mark IV’s and those sunny hilly roads. But, I’m also reminded of the countless hours I spent, wrench in hand, tweaking this and that to keep the engines tuned… oh, and the hydraulics seemed to need bleeding every month.

I love the Spitfire and the GT6 – the first car I bought myself was a Triumph TR6 and it was a great car – not fast but fun.
