Raffi Minasian, a contributor to My Car Quest, is giving a lecture at the Blackhawk Automotive Museum in Danville, California on Saturday November 15, 2014 from 10:30 AM until noon.
The subject is,
The Future Highway: A Designers Drive into the Driverless Future
Bring your imagination, dreams, doubts and speculations for a lively discussion with Designer, Educator and Automotive Historian Raffi Minasian as he explores the fusion of transportation, mobile devices and nanotechnology in automobiles from the past and into the distant future.
An award winning artist and published illustrator, Raffi has taught illustration and design at several noted universities. In 2003 he returned to his roots as a “hands on” designer working on freelance projects. Today, in addition to his ongoing product design work, Raffi manufactures specialty parts for the classic and muscle car aftermarket as well as custom parts for hot rods and customs.
This presentation is free with admission and Museum Members are free.
I find this subject fascinating especially since there are working prototypes by multiple manufacturers. There is so much potential. My question is, how would the liability issues be handled?
Sounds like an interesting subject however I’m not sure I can attend this one.
