The Quail Motorcycle Gathering celebrates the Evolution of the Motorcycle, honouring both pre- and post-war eras of the world’s finest sports and racing bikes.
I attended this event for the first time this past Saturday. Since the Quail Lodge is only a short drive from my home I figured I had nothing to lose expect the $75 fee to get in. But this included a delicious lunch so the risk was a little lower.

This event is like the Pebble or Amelia Island Concours for motorcycles. There were hundreds of motorcycles and a few bicycles on display along with hundreds more outside the event parked along the street by visitors who rode to the Quail.
Best of Show was won by a 1925 BMW R37 race bike owned by Robert Talbott, shown below.
