This past weekend I attended The Elegance at Hershey. It is a wonderful Concours that takes place in Hershey, PA on the grounds of the Hershey Hotel.
Right across the street is Hershey Park with all of its roller coasters and rides. In the trailer parking area you can actually hear everyone screaming on the new roller coaster that has been added this year.
The Hershey Hotel is a perfect setting for a Concours. It is an eighty year old hotel using a combination of Spanish and Italian architecture with a balcony overlooking the expanse of the Hershey Gardens.

My good friend, Bill Rothermel, has been the voice of the Elegance at Hershey, serving as the MC since its inception much like he is at many of the Concours on the East Coast. That being said, most of these photos, at least the good ones were taken by Bill!
The Elegance is a show of exactly that, Elegant Classic Cars!

Don Meluzio is an avid car lover and collector. He competed in the Porsche Racing Program from 1988 through 1992.
In 1989 he finished 15th in the Porsche Cup USA. In 1991 he finished 9th in the Porsche World Cup. A top 15 finish earned a trip to Stuttgart, where at the Porsche Cup Banquet Professor Porsche presented him with his cash award and a gift. During this time he had already acquired the Porsche 901 Prototype.
He is the president of the Iso & Bizzarrini Owner’s Club and lives in Pennsylvania USA.

I never get to the concours as our local club has its annual show on that date. However I always try to get to the vscca sponsored hill climb at the hotel on the Friday and Saturday previous. One of the coolest events anywhere. Car selection and setting are second to none. It was great seeing Don and his amazing 901 again. Even though my car didn’t win an award, it had the distinction of being the only three-wheeled car at the show. I hope to have something worthy of an invitation in the future.
Myron, I am sorry that I didn’t show a picture of your Davis! I didn’t know what year it was, or what model, so I didn’t want to show it without the identifying information! Cool car, great to see you there.
