Ferrari enthusiasts will converge on the glamorous city of Monte Carlo on June 8, 2024, for the second edition of Monaco Car Auctions’ L’ASTAROSSA™. Known as “The Red Auction,” this event features some of the rarest and most desirable Ferrari cars and automobilia in the world.
The highlight of the auction is a 1965 Ferrari 275 GTS. This particular car, chassis 07021, is one of only 200 ever made and comes with the prestigious Ferrari Classiche certification. Remarkably, it has just 1,957 miles on the odometer. Fully restored by Quality Cars and GPS Classic in 2008, it was showcased at the esteemed Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance in 2009. The car is expected to fetch between €1.5 million and €1.8 million.
L’ASTAROSSA™ will be also celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Ferrari Testarossa by presenting 5 distinct examples from the supercar’s production era. Among them is an early 1985 ‘Monospecchio’ model, distinguished by its single driver’s side wing mirror, with an estimated value of €150,000 to €185,000. Additionally, a 1987 ‘Monodado’ model featuring dual wing mirrors and a striking Giallo Fly finish is expected to fetch between €140,000 and €180,000. Completing the trio is a 1989 model that has had only one owner, with an estimated value ranging from €160,000 to €210,000.
Last but not least, Monaco Car Auctions will showcase a series of low-mileage vehicles, including a 2002 Ferrari ENZO with just 7,700 km on the odometer.
