Monterey British Car Show
On Monday August 11 the Monterey British car show was held in Carmel Valley. It was a beautiful sunny day and there were about 100 British cars on display. It was a casual event at the local park with families, dogs and kids. Below are some of my photos from this relaxing day.
My only problem was a massive traffic jam as we were leaving that lasted for a few hours so we were forced to visit two wine tasting rooms (there are many to choose from in Carmel Valley) and we stopped and had dinner as well. This was way more fun than sitting in traffic. I have not heard what caused this traffic problem but it may be related to construction. A roundabout is being built at the intersection of Carmel Valley Road and Laureles Grade Road.

You don’t know your XKs, Mike! The picture at the top of a marron roadster is in fact an XK120.
Thank you, as a matter of fact I know that I do not know my XKs. I will change the caption.
Great to see all these pics, Mike – some consolation to those of us who can’t be there!
Thank you for the wonderful, colorful pictures of a beautiful event.
