Astons on the Avenue
On Wednesday August 13 in Carmel-by-the-Sea was the Astons on the Avenue event. There were 52 Aston Martins present including my yellow 2005 V12 Vanquish S. It is not easy to get that many Astons together but the organizers, led by Simon Bull, pulled it off. His art gallery, Meuse Gallery, is the sponsor along with the Aston Martin Owners Club. This event supports the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
Ocean Avenue was closed down and the cars were placed by the organizers for easy and fun viewing by the public who paid nothing for this special day. All the shops and restaurants were open and doing lots of business as far as I could tell. Dogs and kids were there also having fun. Here are some photos from the day.
