Here is my pick for the classic car for sale today that I would like to own.

I have always wanted a 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 but they have always been out of a comfortable price range. They dropped in value over the last couple of years as did most American Muscle cars. The Shelby models have held up better than other American classics and now are on the rise.

The asking price of $$374,891 for this car is the highest that I have seen for a non ‘R’ model Shelby GT350.

The seller says:

* Numbers matching

* It is No. 111 of the first batch of 112 cars shipped to Shelby and of the original 521 Shelby GT350 Fastbacks

* Fresh restoration back to original condition by Cobra Automotive Inc.

* It is an original Le Mans stripe car with Cragar upgraded wheels

It turns out that while almost all of the 1965 GT350s have the Le Mans stripe today there were less than 30% made that way originally.

This Shelby GT350 is for sale on eBay.
