by Mike –
Recently I published a story about a little bit of the history of the last Bizzarrini Spyder made, the blue one, owned by Don Meluzio. It is the 1968 Bizzarrini 5300 Spyder S.I. S/N IA3 315S. The S. I. stands for Stile Italia the body designer.
Apparantly Don took this beauty to the Elegance at Hershey on June 16 where My Car Quest reader Roger B. Hirschland took all of these photos and he then kindly sent them to me to be shared with all of you.
Roger told Don,
I think I am the only visitor at the Elegance who has a cat named Bizzarrini. He laughed, asked if I was serious, and when I said, “Yes,” he said he was going to change his cat’s name. You never know what kind of levity a Bizzarrini will bring about.
All photos by Roger B. Hirschland, except the Pebble Beach photo.
