Bev Spencer was a Ferrari and Buick dealer in San Francisco in the 1950s and 1960s. His passion for automobile racing and Ferraris led him to campaign ex-factory Ferrari competition cars at tracks up and down the west coast during the 1960s. Apparently Bev Spencer also brought along photographers – this is great for all of us who love motor sports!
Roy Spencer, one of Bev Spencer’s sons, has started a Kickstarter campaign that I think will be of interest to anyone who loves the history of motor sports and wants to see that history preserved and shared.
I signed up – support the MotorBinder Kickstarter campaign – click here.
Some of you may remember I wrote about Bev Spencer before; The Ferrari 250 GTO Mystery and then The Ferrari 250 GTO Mystery Is Solved.
I am still amazed about this story but one mans amazement is another mans regular life.
