All About Corvettes – The Corvette Today Podcast

I started this podcast in April 2020. In doing my research, there was no podcast available dedicated to Corvette! So I thought-there’s my opening…there’s my niche. Now CORVETTE TODAY is the only podcast specifically about Corvettes.

I’m a radio disc jockey in Kansas City at KCFX/101 The Fox, a Classic Rock station. It’s the #1 radio station in Kansas City and the #1 Classic Rock radio station in the entire country! I’m also the President of the Corvette Club of Kansas City, Missouri. Plus, I’m the Emcee of one of the largest Corvette weekends in the country, which is Corvette FunFest on the grounds of Mid America Motorworks in Effingham, Illinois.

I format CORVETTE TODAY just like a radio show. There are 3 segments to each podcast with 2 commercial breaks in between. I sell advertising to be played during the commercial breaks and sponsorships for the podcast. I do a lot of post-production editing, which makes the podcast very easy to listen to. I take out all of the “um’s” and “ah’s” and long pauses and double words and triple words. I have coined my own phrase called “Listener Fatigue”, which is what you get when you don’t do post-production editing. A 30 minute CORVETTE TODAY podcast feels like about 15-20 minutes! Every other week, Keith Cornett from CorvetteBlogger.com comes on the show to do a “News & Headlines” podcast with me. Since it’s called CORVETTE TODAY, we inform listeners about what’s the latest and greatest in the world of Corvette. On the off weeks, I interview A-List people from the world of Corvette.
