Mike Gulett, was juried into The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering event of Monterey Car Week – 2024, in the “Evolution of the Supercar” class with his Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S.

He very kindly offered me the passenger seat though I’m only an enthusiast. What a ride. Full disclosure: his wife Rebecca, he and I lunch every Friday.
Eye candy was everywhere to be seen. The weather was classic 70’s and blue skies. The event layout at The Quail Golf Club meandered charmingly, easily manageable, the footing perfect.
No strangers here, where I met and talked to the most interesting people…car people. Wonderful stories and insights, contacts exchanged, food shared and cocktails (special thanks to No. 3 Gin and local Carmel Valley lady Thora, at Daou Winery).
Mike and I arrived before 8am, two hours before the event opened and we never paused. It ended at 4pm with award ceremonies. The day went by very fast.
Best day ever!
And great fashion was there as well as great cars!
