Tony Olissoff’s Lamborghini Miura has just finished a major restoration.
Tony writes
– “Hi Mike, Some of my favorite pictures are of the deconstruction and reconstruction of my Miura, especially that my son, Zac, helped out.
Getting that fabulous (but awkward) motor/gearbox/differential assembly back into the hole was some serious fun.
An aside, when I was taking the refurbished seats home, they do look (to me) like a rich persons choice of baby booster seats.
The car was just featured on the cover of New Zealand Classic Car magazine.
Take care Mike and keep up the good work.”

Zac is a lucky young man to work on a project like this at his age. I did something like this with my father at that age but instead of a Lamborghini Miura it was a 1940 GMC pickup truck – same idea though.
You may recognize Tony Olissoff’s name because he sent in the terrific photos of the Maserati Tipo 151 that prompted a previous post.
I invite all readers to send in interesting photos of your cars or any other cars.
