Here are results from a few of my favorite classic cars that were at the RM Auction in Paris this week.
1957 Lancia Aurelia B24S Convertible by Pinin Farina
The estimate was €225.000 – €275.000. – Sold for €308,000 ($418,624) (256,508 pounds sterling).
1957 Aston Martin DB2/4 Mk III
The estimate was €180.000 – €220.000.– Sold for €207,200 ($281,620) (172,560 pounds sterling).
1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS
The estimate was €1.000.000 – €1.400.000.– Sold for €1,288,000 ($1,750,611) (1,072,671 pounds sterling).
Two Others
A Lamborghini Miura once owned by Rod Stewart, below, that is a beautiful shade of blue, at least I think it is blue.
Sold for €520,800 ($707,855) (433,732 pounds sterling).
There is also a 1957 Fiat 600 Multipla, below, which we do not see often here in the US in any color.
Sold for €33,600 ($45,668) (27,983 pounds sterling).
It looks like RM had a successful auction and the trend of classic car price appreciation continues.
