I started publishing My Car Quest four years ago today – American Thanksgiving. During these four years I have learned a lot from readers who have shared very interesting stories, information, history and photos. I love this.
I have learned from readers when I made mistakes – you would correct me in the Comments or a private email – I do appreciate that. I know that many of you know far more than I do about the subjects I choose to write about.
A friend once told me that “90% of the blogs in the world are only read by the writer and his or her mother”. I didn’t want to be that blogger I wanted other people to read My Car Quest.
Since the beginning there have been several hundred thousand people who have visited My Car Quest with more than one-quarter million users in the past one year (according to Google Analytics). Wow, that is a small city visiting every year.
Along the way I have learned a few things about publishing a blog and how to achieve excellent ranking in search engines, which have delivered nearly 40% of the visitors to My Car Quest in the last one year. I know this all sounds boring but if I didn’t do this stuff none of you would be here reading this now except my mother. Hi Mom.
Thank you all for reading and supporting My Car Quest. I hope the next year will be just as fun for all of us.
