1968 Iso Grifo 7-Litre
This beautiful Iso Grifo 7-Litre is up for auction at the Historics at Brooklands at the Brooklands Museum Trust in Surrey, England on June 6, 2015.
Below is a video with the current owner, Chris Lackner
Estimate: £240,000 – £280,000
The auction company says this,
This Iso Grifo is the 1968 Earls Court Show car and is one of only four righthand drive, super-rare seven-litre Grifo’s built. Whilst it was priced similarly to the Lamborghini Miura and Ferrari Daytona in its day and with performance statistics to match, it has only been in more recent years that the collectability of Iso’s finest cars has been comparable to the cars that the Iso’s were designed to compete with when new.
This is a terrific car with an excellent long term owner and the estimate seems a little low to me.

It looks like the Grifo and The Fidia don’t have a sales price from the auction.
The Grifo didnt sell at 205k GBP. I think it was not the best auction to get a sale as most of the cars are lower priced cars at the Historics, Brooklands. It would have probably done much better at a main RM or Bonhams sale. Shame as looks like its a stunning car.
