My friend, Bruce Caron, and I sat down at a table on a hot and humid day at the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center during Monterey Car Week. A liquid refreshment and a break from walking and looking at cars was our goal. It was really hot that day.
While I was sitting at a table with eight empty chairs, Bruce was acquiring his beverage, a lady came by obviously looking for a place to sit. I extended my hand and offered any of the empty chairs. Her 18 year old son soon joined us.
They were from Germany and had come to Monterey at the last minute without much of a plan. Naturally we invited them to attend the Iso Grifo celebration at Concorso Italiano on Saturday.
I was surprised when they appeared at my Iso Grifo on Saturday and I learned that the son, Eamon Duffy, is an aspiring artist with an interest in multiple disciplines including photography.
He asked if we could set up a time where he could photograph my Grifo. I am always happy when anyone wants to point a camera at one of my cars. They both came to our home on Monday.
The photography session lasted about four hours and involved some serious equipment which had been hauled all the way from Germany to California.
I love the photographs.
All photos by Eamon Duffy.
Great stuff, Mike – the Grifo looks beautiful. What photogenic cars they are!
Gorgeous photos, Mike, of a spectacularly beautiful car. Congratulations!!!

I love that color blue Mike. What does the manufacturer call it?
Nicely done photos!

Geoffrey,
The build sheet says this color is Bleu Monthlery.
Beautiful Mike! A real piece of art that you can enjoy. Do you have a preference between this one and the red Grifo you owned prior? Do they drive pretty much the same?
Werner, I love both Grifos.
Beautiful photos of a beautiful car! Congrats Mike!
