by Mike –
It has been a long day for me on my first day of Monterey Car Week, 2016.
Today was a great day in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea for the Carmel Concours-on-the-Avenue with people from around the world who came to enjoy great cars, people and the atmosphere of the California Monterey Peninsula.
The weather was perfect for a car show – cloudy, cool and no rain – and no smoke from the local wildfire.
I met up with many friends and in between walking up and down Ocean Avenue I sat in one of my favorite bar/restaurants for maybe 3 hours with many other locals that I know and visitors that I now know. It was great fun.

Here are some of my photos from today – more will be posted later.
One of my favorite events of Monterey car week. Relaxed environment with fantastic cars on pavement. Thanks for including a pic of the Glas.
Mike, just saw some pics of the Pebble cruise to Carmel. There is a gold AMX/3 do you happen to know which one got repainted?
Yes, the one I sold here on My Car Quest at this link – https://mycarquest.com/2013/08/amc-amx3-by-bizzarrini-for-sale-a-bizzarrini-developed-super-car-powered-by-american-motors.html
Like the blue & white Austin Healey in your photo above.
Me too.
