Well, not THE Eastwood, Clint, but his son, Scott. And the Ferrari 250 GTO, at least in the stunt scenes, might be a stunt double. The film, called Overdrive, is about two car thieves, who happen to be brothers, who choose to hang out in the south of France where they bend the nose out of joint of the local crime boss.
Andrew and Garrett Foster (Scott Eastwood and Freddie Thorp) like to steal luxury cars and are hired to steal a gorgeous Bugatti 1937 (Atlantic?) but as enthusiastic as they are, they are inept, get caught by the crime boss and are put on the task of stealing a car from the kingpin’s rival.
The car is the immortal Ferrari 250 GTO of which there are only 36 (or 39 if you count the prototypes). By the way, the last publicly announced sale of one was $38 million but there’s rumors another sold more recently for $52 million. Among the owners of that model are Ralph Lauren and Nick Mason, the latter a musician with Pink Floyd.
Among the publicity pictures is one of Scott with a GTO in Paris. Well, the Eifel tower looks real, don’t know about the Ferrari. The production companies are listed as Kinology, Sentient Pictures, and Umedia.
Ironically though this sounds like something tailored from the get-go for Eastwood, the very informative website called ImDB says “Matthew Goode and Alex Pettyfer were originally cast but they were replaced with Karl Urban and Ben Barnes. Barnes also dropped out and was replaced by Sam Claflin. Later, both Urban and Claflin dropped out and were replaced by Scott Eastwood and Freddie Thorp.”
Let us know what you think in the Comments. What would a thief do with a stolen Ferrari 250 GTO?

If anyone else drops out, I’m available.
You never know when there’s gonna be a sequel. If you are an actor, have footage shot of you comfortable in the world of exotic cars and send it to the production company
And if you, Phillip, drop out I’ll take you place. no part Deux for me.
“What would a thief do with a stolen Ferrari 250 GTO?”
The same thing that the thief of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang did, I suppose.
But don’t you think a stolen Ferrari 250 GTO is like a stolen van Gogh painting? You can’t hide it or sell it without everyone knowing.
not if you live on your own island and plan to take over the world
yeah, you’re right I didn’t think of that
Why would I want a 250 GTO on an island, not much fun driving there? LOL
Yeah, sure. Then along comes 007 and kicks you out.
Bond must race his Aston against the thief and the GTO, much of the racing is below the ground in tunnels that house missiles
You sell it to a rich guy that has a big estate he can drive it on. and if he takes it out he can just tell people its a fake gto
