Monterey Car Week has been delayed to the last week in August this year (next week) because of an amateur golf tournament at Pebble Beach this week. Car Week is the week that more visitors come to the Monterey Peninsula that any other week of the year.
Monterey Car Week revolves around the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance which is held at the end of the week on Sunday. There are a few new events this year and there is so much to do that no one can do it all. The best advice is to decide what you really want to do and plan accordingly, and don’t forget the traffic will add a few minutes to your driving. There has been road construction delaying normal traffic for the past few months, especially at Rio Road and Highway 1. I do hope they suspend the road work for Car Week.
Below is a list of many of the events with links to the appropriate web site for more information on each event. And don’t forget to look at all the cool cars that will be driving around the streets, that is very entertaining.
If you make it here this year I hope you have fun!

No question this is the ultimate week for any gearhead… it is a chance to get your neat car fix for the year…
What a great week, expensive yes but anything of quality is.
