Are BMW Exotic Cars?

The desire to push anything to its limit is an integral part of human nature. Years ago, the Concorde set new frontiers for speed, and the automotive industry has never been far behind when it comes to surprising users with its fast and innovative products. When it comes to defining which car manufacturer delivers excellence year after year and includes a lineup of exotic cars, BMW cannot be off that prestigious list. Click here to find out what other car manufacturers and which of their models have made the exotic list.

Exotic BMW models – are they consistently exceptional?

Exotic cars are few and far between; at least, this seems to be so when they are compared to less ambitious models. Only a few brands consistently manufacture exceptionally exotic cars that can also offer their drivers an unparalleled level of comfort. BMW always seems to find its way to the top spots in that list, remember their wedge shaped cars?. This is because they have been creating beautiful, carefully crafted automobiles for over a century, never losing sight of their attention to detail that results in exquisite vehicles that are always a class above. Among the topmost exotic BMWs built over time, you can find:

The 2000 BMW X5 Le Mans Concept

With a price tag of one million dollars and an exterior that resembles the X5, the value of this car lies more on its inside, starting with a V12 engine coupled with incredibly high-tech touches.

The 2011 BMW X6 G-Power S

Starting at $800,000, this vehicle placed itself among the most powerful automobiles in the world when it came out. Even now, some still covet it. You may have to pay a little more if you can convince one of its owners to part with it.

The 2012 BMW M5 G-Power Hurricane RRs

This hard-to-find exotic jewel, with a price tag of about $800,000, is one more reflection that BMW does not just mass-produce its top-tier exotic cars. Two ASA T1-316 superchargers helped give these Hurricanes 818 hp; it comes as no surprise that these were the fastest sedans in the world when they came out.

The 2015 BMW M6 G-Power Hurricane CS Ultimate

As one of the few cars in the world that can boast of having over a thousand horsepower, this car is valued at $800,000. Its single owner, who refuses to reveal their identity, lives in the United Arab Emirates but surely enjoys the bespoke tuning and plenty of other unique features of this exotic automobile, such as being able to reach 200km/h in only 9 seconds.

The 2012 BMW X6 M G-Power Typhoon Wide Body

With a price tag of $760,000, this curvy, wide-body automobile has the feel of a race car while remaining handsome and sporty.

BMW Celebrates 50 Years of Being a Leader in “Motorsport”

The M division of BMW, originally known as BMW Motorsport, was created to race. This year, they are celebrating 50 years of an incredible legacy by showing off its exotic creation at the Nuremberg at the end of May. BMW’s car will feature its traditional colors of violet, blue, and red, the same colors that were established at the birth of the M division in 1972.
