by Mike –
I am not a member of the Porsche Club of America even though I bought my first Porsche in 1982 and have owned a 1996 Carerra 911 Type 993 since new. I think it is time to join.
This Concours today was part of The 59th Annual Porsche Parade in Monterey.
What a day seeing so many cars and all of them a Porsche. There was something for every lover of the marque from the big race cars to elegant street cars old and new.
Naturally Porsche had a tent with examples of their new cars and bicycles too, yes bicycles.
I will publish more photos later in the week but today I wanted to show you the variety of Porsche colors. Many of you know I love car colors, even though I own three silver cars I also love green and orange, however, I have never owned a green or orange car. That is something to look forward to.
More colorful Porsches are in the slide show below.

Hi Mike,
I believe the color on the ’74 Carrera is called Peru Red, actually red/orange/brown in appearance.
It was a standard color only in ’74.
Best Regards,
Bill Cooper
Thanks Bill,
red/orange/brown sounds just like the color.
At last, a Porsche(bicycle) I might be able to afford! Thanks for all the great pictures.
Nice cars, would have liked having more information about the car in the image.
That will be the subject of a future post along with more photos.
