You may remember that I sold my Iso Grifo last year and soon had sellers remorse.
I also sold my silver Bizzarrini GT 5300 recently. I may be going through a mid-life crisis.
To get things back on track I bought this fantastic 1966 Iso Grifo. It arrived today in Carmel from Belgium by air. Not directly by air – it went to Amsterdam from Antwerp by ground, then by air through Luxembourg, Los Angeles and finally to San Francisco.
It arrived today in Carmel by ground transport from the San Francisco airport. US Customs took their sweet time releasing it for pick up.
This Iso Grifo is chassis No. GL660101 and was restored by Il Bottegone – Iso Restoration (Roberto Negri) about six years ago. It is still in near perfect condition with very few kilometers covered since the restoration. It has it’s original 350 hp engine and a 4-speed manual transmission.

Sellers remorse never goes away. I sold my Iso’s, A GT, S4, two Lele’s and miss them everyday but I did replace them with a Porsche. Maybe I will reenter the world of Iso’s.

Mike, its great to see an Iso in your drive way again! Seller’s remorse is something that I fear strongly as I have put my 1969 Spider 1750 up for sale. And just like Mr. Greenfield, I will be looking for a Porsche. Of course an Iso is much harder to replace than an AR Spider but still….congrats and enjoy!

Congratulation! Fantastic car! I know this car 10+ years ago and after Roberto and Federico Negri’s restoration this is a better than new Grifo. Lovely colour combination, enjoy!

Mike, in “66 a new Grifo in green was parked in the street where I lived in Haarlem Holland. Much better than the Facel Vega he had before. Sometimes I saw a Rivolta too. Those were the days to look at the traffic.
